I met Salena about six years ago on a study abroad trip in China. Wow, I can’t believe how time flies but am so grateful for the friendship that we’ve built. We became friends on the trip but really bonded when I found out we shared the same birthday! And even more so when we signed up for the same extracurricular class at NYU a few years later!
So as much as we’ve been good friends since, I was extremely nervous for our shoot. I never really shot a friend before and in my mind, I wanted to make sure they had a great time but wanted to do something more interactive outside of the lovey-dovey couple shoots. It’s like being a couple in front of your friends, that’s always a bit awkward since we like to keep our kissy-faces at home. Niloy took a bit of time to warm up to the camera, since like most guys, he was probably dragged into it. I have to say though that Salena & Niloy were so much fun to shoot and they were great sports at it. Especially Niloy, thanks for trusting me and going with my crazy flow! More importantly, thank you both for trusting me! I hope you guys enjoy the photos as much as I did shooting it.
